Rainy days in town, no bright sky, no sun
We were on the way home from a movie session
It was quite late in the evening
And the rain couldn’t help falling
It was so crowded at the bus stop that we decided to get something hot
We, then, went to Nr One, our head quarter
Where we are used to meeting and eating together
We ordered some soup to keep us warn
Then we tried to keep cool despite all…
We got served, so we ate your soup, mine was Chinese
It was delicious even if there was no cheese
The rain was still falling, the tin roof was singing
Then I had a feeling that someone from behind was coming in
He got in, wearing a grey sweater with his cap on
Blue vintage jeans, a bit wet, but he looked so handsome
He ordered four toasts and had a glance at me
I got stuck, I couldn’t swallow my soup, I tell you!
Then while waiting for the toasts he gave a call
Frankly, he’s the kind of guy that would made me fall
I could hardly remain normal, he was so attractive
But as I had two other guys with me, ppfff no initiative
While calling he glanced at me again, oh my god
Then the waitress called him and gave him the toasts
Ad it was damn raining, he had a sit and ate one
This was the very moment where I wish we could have been alone
He grabbed a bite and turned his head to meet my face
I shouldn’t have smiled but that was not the case
I couldn’t help looking back at him, at his lips
As he finished the last grab, he looked at my hips
We were done but couldn’t leave yet
He was also staying and for the same reason I bet
After two last glances we finally had to leave, with no regret
Even if we couldn’t talk, I’m happy at least we have met
Cause the face of this stranger in the rain is not to forget

Amazing again! I love your poems. I mean it! Not to be cheesy but lol I truly enjoy reading them, it’s like re-living the experience.
and I never got to meet that stranger again …
… loollllll
